Insurance:

Educational Consultation & Relationship Coaching services are not covered by medical insurance. Additionally, mental health insurance typically does not cover relationship counseling services. As a result, our practice is not an in-network provider for any insurance companies. Fees for all services are due no later than the time at which the service is provided.

Counseling clients may request a superbill from the practice, which the client may send to their insurance company for potential reimbursement if offered by their plan. Counseling clients interested in pursuing reimbursement are encouraged to check their coverage carefully by asking the following questions of your insurance provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits?
  • Do I need to meet my deductible prior to utilizing out-of-network benefits?
  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the reimbursement rate per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Please note the cancellation policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
